Fairly clean, good value hotel, the location was favourable close enough to city centre, walking path, park. We stayed in an attractive king room with the hot tub and modern linens, for instance.
Well, the area was not great overall.

Friendly staff provided helpful check-in service. The spacious King Room was clean and well-maintained, with a fridge and microwave. Breakfast included standard options like waffle and fruit, but nothing really good. The hallways could get a bit noisy with other guests, slightly disruptive.

We visited the local zoo and a nearby shopping center. The pool was nice, and breakfast had waffles and fruits. Rooms were clean, with comfy beds.
The hallways were a bit noisy due to other guests late at night, hard to sleep at times.

The decor and overall room visual was lovely.
As soon as we arrived and pulled into the parking lot there was trash blunt wrappers and condoms littered along the fence facing the river. As we walked up to our room the smell of weed took over the halls. Surprisingly our room was really nice. However in the morning when we were getting ready to leave I lost my phone in the sheets so my husband pulled the bed spreed completely off to discover the fitted sheet had blood on it. So discussing we probably slept on someone's menstruation. I still dont know how to get over that. I don't recommend staying here with family or small children. Hookers pimps and obvious drug use every where. We booked online and we're very disappointed. To add insult to injury we found more condoms next to our car as we left.

adequate stay with notable features
The room had a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night, though the bathroom fittings seemed modern and well-maintained. I appreciated the security measures in place, especially the visible cameras for added peace of mind. The hotel provided excellent dog-friendly options.

The room we reserved is not the room we were given. When we spoke to the front desk, they told us we would be moved to the correct room for our second night of our stay after 1pm. When we came back at 1pm to get our new room, they told us someone else reserved the room so they couldn't give it to us. After speaking to the manager, he told us their was nothing he could do. I couldn't believe that not only did they not honor our original reservation, but they openly gave the room to someone else who arrived after us. This was one of the worst hotel stays we've ever had.
